All-inclusive from Santa Barbara Harbor. $200 per person is tax-deductible for this expedition. Cost of the entire expedition for travelers in single-occupancy berths is $925 per person. Doug Thompson has led expeditions into Mexico with the now "friendly whales of San Ignacio Lagoon" for over twenty-five years and was one of the pioneers of close encounters with whales. These five-day expeditions remain one of the most successful examples of eco-tourism where the local people and the whales both benefit from our efforts.
We now offer unique expeditions to the exciting and beautiful California Channel Islands off the Southern California coastline. These islands are magnificent and most people have never heard of them. This year we are conducting one four-day, four-night voyage to explore the islands themselves and the rich diversity of marine life that surrounds them, including whales, dolphins, and seals.
